How to get here

By car: once you have passed Rome, take the direction to Naples and then the Motorway A3 Salerno-Reggio Calabria, exit Battipaglia and drive along the road SS 18 direction Agropoli-Vallo della Lucania, exit Vallo Scalo, then follow the direction to Casal Velino Marina. Once in Casal Velino Marina, follow the signs for Pioppi.
By train: Vallo della Lucania train station (about 90 km south of Salerno). This is the Rome- Reggio Calabria railroad line. Alternatively, you can get off at Ascea (fewer trains stop here). From Vallo della Lucania to Pioppi is 10 km.
By plane TNaples Capodichino International Airport (150 km). It is recommended to rent a car in Naples directly at the airport. Here you can find several car rentals. We also recommend to book a car in advance, specially if you are coming in the months of July or August.
